Paintbrush Stylus £12.99 from Ekit on Amazon* - If you love painting then this paintbrush stylus works with all touchscreen art apps to simulate painting in acrylic, watercolour or charcoal. The bristles are made from synthetic hairs with conductive properties and it's the same size and weight as a regular paintbrush. The opposite end of the brush has a rubber stylus for sketching or handwriting.

Calender Stickers £3.22 from Etsy - For all of us who use the bullet journal system you'll know that not having an actual calender in your notebook is sometimes a barrier to forward planning. This little page marker stickers solve that problem immediately and also create easy-access monthly tabs,

Glitter Washi Tape £6.60 from Whimsy Designs on Amazon* - This sparkly washi tape is slightly thicker than the normal paper washi tape so it's great for edging Filofax dividers or project pages in a notebook. And who doesn't need a bit of glitter in their lives?

Novelty Paper Clips £3.89 from Beautifeye on Amazon* - Shaped paperclips always add a touch of fun to a notebook or diary and there's plenty of selection here. I think my favourite from this collection would be the bicycle clips (*groan*) or the scooter clips.

3D Doodler £99.99 from Firebox - Imagine being able to bring your doodles to life! I really want to get my hands on one of these 3D Doodle Pens and give it a try. I'd probably write my name (don't you always when you get a new pen) and then try to create the London Underground roundel.  Have a look at this video below to see why I squealed when I saw it!

Top 10 Notebooks

Top 10 Notebooks

Here at Stationery Lovers we use lots of notebooks in all shapes, sizes and styles. We've picked out our ultimate wishlist, some of which are cheap and cheerful and others that would be used for very special writing assignments (or simply stored away in a drawer because they are too nice to write in!). Here are our Top 10 Notebooks.

1. Liberty Print Purple Tanjore Lotus A5 Notebook £18.95 from Liberty - A classic Liberty print design with matching page marker ribbon, elastic closure and ivory paper. I would save this luxurious notebook for a special journaling project such as an important event or a big family holiday.

2. Leuchtturm1917 Pocket Dots (lime green) £8.50 on Bureau Direct - This notebook is smaller than the ones I normally use but I'm falling in love with dot grid over squared pages at the moment and this lime green colour just stand out a mile.  Gorgeous.

3. Sh*t I Gotta Get F*cking Done notebook $9.95 from Cool Material - I've been trying to find a UK store that stocks these ace little notebooks but every website that features them points to the Cool Material store. They do provide international shipping but it would be overly expensive, I imagine. If anyone knows of a UK stockist, do please get in touch.

4. Moleskine Evernote £15.97 on Amazon* - This classic Moleskine has specially printed pages and stickers that trigger a scanning process when photographed with your smartphone and uploaded to Evernote. This allows the content inside your notebook to become digital, searchable and shareable. I've recently found out that Livescribe is to be incorporated with Moleskine and Evernote too which just creates a gadget-analogue full circle for me. Awesome!

5. Christian Lacroix Astrologie Flocked journal £27.60 from Christian Lacroix (sweetie) - I just want to delve inside and see the astrological colour plates. This would be a great daily journal if there were more pages (it has 144 so you would have to fit three days worth of thoughts on each page) but the cover is just so beautiful.

1. School Of Thought Notebooks £15 from The Journal Shop -  set of three, exercise notebooks, each one carries an introduction to a great Pessimistic thinker on the inside front page, their name beautifully printed on the cover - and otherwise empty pages for your own projects.

2. Blah, Blah, Blah Panama Notebook £45 from Smythson - Smythson make the best notebooks IMHO. The paper is exquisite and has to be used to be believed. Beautifully packaged in a gift box, you can even have them personalised with your initials. Once you've gone there, there is simply no going back.

3. Mark's Tokyo Edge Le Zippe Notebook £9.50 from The Journal Shop - This notebook really does have it all. Contained within a handy zipper pocket, your notebook is perfect for storage of your pens and essentials when you are on the go.

4. Iconic Essay Book £8.50 from Stickerstack - This is my current notebook of choice, though it has to be said that I am using it as a doodler and not as a traditional note taking book. Compact and wonderful, Iconic has become a firm favourite of mine since discovering the brand a few weeks ago.

5. The Tab Notebooks £8.13 from Amazon - A set of four tabbed notebooks that are colour coded for easy organisation. They are just perfect for project work.

That's it for today. What's your notebook of choice?

2. Leuchtturm 1917 2015 Medium £14.95 from Bureau Direct - Choosing a colour is probably the hardest part of selecting a diary from this range. This week-on-two-pages layout also includes a removable address section and a birthday calendar and there's a handy back pocket to stuff loose notes or receipts in.

3. A6 All Change Diary £6.50 from Paperchase - An iconic London Underground cover adorns this spiral bound diary which includes all the usual information and conversion notes along with pages to keep a record of contacts and websites.

4. Personal Planner £19.95 from personal-planner.co.uk - If you ever wanted to design your own diary then this is your chance. 1. 2015 Colour A Month Diary Planner £31.99 from Moleskine - I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this diary. An individual, coloured, monthly pocketbook that slips neatly into a hardbound 12 month organiser. I bought one last year but couldn't bring myself to write in it. it's too nice!

2. Dodo Pad Desk Diary £12.99 from Dodo Pad - The original multi-tasking, multi-user, family-friendly diary. It's my failsafe choice for keeping the family running smoothly and no Christmas would be complete without one in my stocking. Available in 7 different sizes, the Dodo Pad turns 50 next year!

3. 2015 Hobonichi Techno Planner £35 from The Journal Shop - I'm dying to get my hands on a classic Hobonichi planner but they are on limited European supply and sell out before they hit the stores. Printed on lightweight, bleed resistant, Tomoe River paper, the Hobonichhi is compact with a special binding stitch that allows lay flat opening despite it's 450 page size.
With a funky Japanese feel.... once tasted, you may never return. You have been warned.

4. 2014/2015 18mth Star Wars Weekly Notebook £19.99 from Moleskine - Yes I know I shouldn't but I do. As a child of the '70's and a young mum in the '90's, try as much as I like, Star Wars is an integral part of my being. The geek in me needs this diary simply to count down the days to the new Star Wars Disney release in December next year.

5. Mum's Mini Diary £11.95 from mumsoffice.co.uk - Slim and compact, it's perfect for slipping into a small bag but still with enough room to list everything you need. The simple grid layout is really simple to read and easy to use.

So, there you have it. What diary do you use? Do you have a favourite that you go back to year after year or are you a brand butterfly? We'd love to know.
